Unlucky day for Eastbourne, Eagles lost the meeting in Coventry
Coventry Bees - Eastbourne Eagles 58:35, JK 8
After yesterday's home victory at Arlington, today Eastbourne did not manage to bring some points from Coventry. Locals were doing really well and Eagles had a bit of unluck. Eventually the meeting ended up with Coventry's victory: 58:35. It was an average meeting of Joonas Kylmakorpi, who scored eight points from five heats, but in one of the he was racing as a joker.
The meeting did not start with too bad result. JK scored two points as he ended up the meeting behind Richard Sweetman's back, who is doing quite well on the Coventry's track. Then in the another battle of JK, Finn lost his steel shoe during the race and needed to retired as it was unpossible for him to continue racing.
In the further heat Eagles promotors decided to use Kylmakorpi as a joker, but as he did not have too good starts yesterday's then the fight just after the tapes went up was won by Edward Kennett. In the end Kylmakorpi scored two more points and that gave him eight over all.
