Finland does not qualify to race-off, JK performs well!

Finland scores 14 points in SWC semi-final, Joonas got 9 of them!

As it was expected, Finland did not manage to qualify from the Speedway World Cup semi-final event 2, which took place in british King's Lynn. Suomi riders had very demanding opponents and the whole meeting was really tough between Great Britain, who got straight into the final, and Australia and Sweden, who will compete in the race off.

Finnish team combined from young riders supported by Joonas Kylmakorpi and Kauko Nieminen, was hoping to get some more experience in the "big" speedway meeting. However it was not easy to race against such riders as Grand Prix representationists as: Fredrik Lindgren, Magnus Zetterstrom, Tai Woffinden and Chris Holder, Finnish boys were trying to show some good races.

The best of the team was Joonas Kylmakorpi, who scored nine points from six heats. Once he was racing as a joker and in this heat scored four points as he finished the race on the second position. JK had some good ana bad performances, but surly was the only Finn, who was at least close to the fitness of the best riders in the SWC event. Kylmakorpi managed to win with the Grand Prix riders .
